Hardware prices are climbing, and waiting to buy costs more. DRAM contract prices rose 13–18% in a single quarter (TrendForce, 3Q 2026), analysts describe the component shortage as structural rather than cyclical — possibly running into 2027 — and tariffs and memory costs ultimately land on your next purchase order.
